কথায় বলে, "বাণিজ্যে বসতে লক্ষ্মী"। ব্যবসার প্রতি বরাবরই আমার ব্যাপক আগ্রহ। স্কুলে জে.এস.সির বৃত্তির টাকা তোলার সময় যখন দশ টাকার রেভিনিউ স্ট্যাম্পের জন্য ছেলেদের মধ্যে হাহাকার চলছিলো, কেউ কেউ পনেরো টাকা দিয়ে হলেও স্ট্যাম্প নিতে চাচ্ছিলো তখন আমার মনে হতাশার কালো মেঘ জমেছিলো। তখন নিজেকে ধিক্কার দিতে দিতে মনে হচ্ছিল কেন যে একটার বদলে দশটা স্ট্যাম্প সাথে নিয়ে আসি নি। আনলে সেদিন (অনৈতিক) ব্যবসা করে বসতাম হয়তো। কিংবা এস.এস.সির পরে যখন অন্যরা ঘুরছিলো, উচ্চমাধ্যমিকের পড়ালেখা এগিয়ে নিচ্ছিলো, প্রেম করছিলো তখন আমি ঘরে বসে গুগলের "ফান্ডামেন্টালস অভ ডিজিটাল মার্কেটিং" কোর্সটি করছিলাম। কাজেই বোঝাই যায় ব্যবসার প্রতি আমার আগ্রহ কেমন! যাই হোক নিজের গুণকীর্তন অনেক করলাম। এবার লাইনে এসে পড়ি। " শরবতে বাজিমাত " মুনির হাসান রচিত একটি বাংলা নন-ফিকশন বই যা কিনা " A Book About Innocent : Our Story and Some Things We've Learned " নামক বই থেকে ইন্সপায়ার্ড। কোরা বাংলায় প্রথম যখন বইটির নাম দেখেছিলাম তখন আমি ভেবেছিলাম এটি বোধহয় শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী মুনীর চৌধুরীর লেখা ...

সাহিত্যের এক অদ্ভুত ধারা ছোটগল্প! ছোটগল্প কাকে বলে তা নিয়ে নানা মুনির নানা মত রয়েছে। আমার কাছে ছোটগল্প অনেক ভালো লাগার একটা বিষয়। কারণ ছোটগল্প মোটামুটি অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে পড়া যায় আর পড়া শেষে মনের মধ্যে একটা চিন্তার বীজ বপন করে করে দিয়ে যায় (যদি গল্পের বিষয় সেরকম হয় আর গল্পটা হৃদয়স্পর্শী হয়)। সেজন্যই সময় পেলে বিভিন্ন লেখকের এর ছোটগল্প পড়ার একটা (দুর্বল) প্রচেষ্টা নিজের মধ্যে রয়েছে। বাংলা ছোটগল্পের জনক হিসেবে রবীন্দ্রনাথকে বিবেচনা করা হয়। এটাও বলা হয় যে, তিনি বাংলা ছোটগল্পের শ্রেষ্ঠ লেখক। তবে আমার মনে হয়, ছোটগল্প লেখায় বনফুলকে অন্য কোনো লেখক ছাড়িয়ে যেতে পারেন নি (রবীন্দ্রনাথের ছোটগল্প খুব একটা বেশি পড়ি নি, এটা আমার কূপমন্ডুকতা)। ক্লাস ফোরে থাকাকালে (দাদার কল্যাণে) " বনফুলের শ্রেষ্ঠ গল্প " নামে একটা ছোটগল্পের সংকলন হাতে পেয়েছিলাম। সেই বইটির বিভিন্ন গল্প আমি বারবার পড়তাম। প্রথমদিকে গল্পগুলোর অন্তর্নিহিত অর্থগুলো আমি উপলব্ধি করতে পারি নি। পরে বয়স বাড়ার সাথে সাথে গল্পগুলো কেমন যেন বাস্তব জীবনের সাথে প্রাসঙ্গিক, সম্পর্কযুক্ত হয়ে উঠতে থাকে। তাই এর পর থেকেই আমার মধ্যে ছো...

Let me tell you an incident of my life at first. I opened my Facebook account in early 2018. After creating an account in one of the most popular social media, I started daydreaming that I would eliminate injustices as well as bad people from my surrounding area (e.g. my school). At that time, I thought I would become the saviour of the oppressed, downtrodden people by using a great weapon named a Facebook account. Well, I used that weapon a lot to take a dig at the teacher who used to utter slangs towards the students in the classroom, the person who claimed all that noble in the world are done by the backbenchers, the flatterer who would lick anyone’s arse for a penny etc. All of these "noble deeds" resulted in "Mierda".
